Nova International “Great Run”– Registration System
The Requirement
We got another chance to work with a previous partner, Nova International in conncection to their "Great Run" sporting events registration system.
“Great Run” series of runs rely on a wide variety of internal and 3rd party systems in order to deliver a successful event.
Nova needed to manage their participant registration process in a manner flexible enough to allow access to multiple fulfilment partners whilst ensuring data-security.
The system needed to be adaptable to suit the different 'great run' events, and needed the capacity to store and process large amounts of data easily, reliably and quickly.

Our Approach
In this case, Nova had a specific issue that needed to be solved; they required a event registration system.
By talking through all the necessary elements it needed to encompass, we shared ideas to generate our solution.
Our Solution
ap16 designed and developed a secure, centralised membership web service for Nova providing a common interface for all consuming applications to query and manage participant details, where their security permissions allow.
The system currently controls authentication to a range of Nova web sites for over 200,000 unique users as well as interfacing with their back-office and fulfilment partner systems
The Results
Nova International now has a centralised, scalable and secure user registration and profiling system that is extendible to encompass new services without the need for additional development.
