Migration from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003

This project involved a very time sensitive move from an existing Exchange 5.5 environment hosting approximately 12,000 mailboxes to Exchange 2003. A guaranteed seamess transition was carried out including the implementation of an enterprise email archiving solution.

Hub datacentre migration

The data centre environemnt comprised of Exchange Server, Active Directory, DNS and WINS providing email, name resolution and directory services to over 60 satallite sites. The requirement for this piece of work was to move these services to a second physical location with zero downtime or disruption. This was successfully planned and carried out in a timely manner.

Enterprise backup configuration

A full backup lifecycle implementation was carried out for an environment including application, email, database, web and file servers. The technology involved included HP EVA SAN, HP Dataprotector, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Clustering Services.
