Windows Media Services - "Leeds Today"

ap16 has completed a  week long exercise with Leeds Trinity University College to pilot "Leeds Today" a television news service produced by trainee journalists as part of their post graduate course in Broadcast Journalism as a web based broadcast.

Working with staff at Leeds Trinity ap16 configured and hosted a Windows Media Services based live TV stream pulling content from the College's TV studio.

"With limited time and resources, moving Leeds Today online proved a challenge for both Leeds Trinity media services and the web team. With help from ap16, 20 TV programmes were streamed live on the web for the first time and got over 2000 viewers. Overall a great success and a very happy producer!" - Mike Othic, Leeds Trinity University College
